The egg is one of the symbol of "NEW LIFE, REBIRTH & LOVE" to be handed down to us from antiquality.
The "egg" as a universal symbol, transcends many races, creed and cultures. The egg in the Eastern church represents the resurrection of Christ and is used in the celebration of Pascha (Easter) to affirm believe in a physical resurrection from the dead and eternal life with God, His Mother and Saints.
