Porcelain sculpture is a traditional part of Lomonosov porcelain assortment. Its origins are dated to the middle of 19th century. Since the 1750s the first porcelain doll, figures of animals and people, had been produced. These treasures of “white gold” were accessible only to a narrow circle of favorites. The first figurine, which was a bear, was made by D.I. Vinogradov, the founder of Lomonosov porcelain factory. To this day each figurine is hand painted, so each one stays unique.
